San Pedro Sula is Honduras’ biggest city and the second most populated, right after Tegucigalpa. It’s located in the downtown area and in it you’ll find many halls that explain the origins of the regional people and culture. It almost closed its doors in 2013 as it was too expensive to keep it open, but thanks to the financial support of the locals is still open and available to be visited.

Its construction started in 1995 and today is one of San Pedro Sula’s most important cultural precincts. It features an attractive calendar all throughout the tear and is venue for the Circulo Teatral Sampedrano. Just its beautiful lobby has capacity of 300 people.

It’s the ultimate symbol of faith among the Sampedranos. It’s located in front of the Luis Alfonso Barahona Central Park. Its construction started in 1949 and it shows vaults that hold a central dome, which is surrounded by paintings of the apostles. It opens its doors at 7:00 a.m. every day.
